Are they a Cult?|
Jokingly, back int he days before I knew what was going on, someone said it sounded like jen had a cult. Haha, funny funny. Only not really. I've had a good long look at ex-cult.org in recent years, and it's a fucking cult.
Jen not only believed she was a fairy queen, but she was the last sorceress. And an alien magic user from the stars. And an angel. That could teach us all the right way to do things. Only she could do it, anyone else was just wrong. Renee was her priest, and anyone (you, me, that guy on the street) who she decided she wanted for whatever reason was suddenly 'the only one with that ability'. When you are targetted by them you are 'very rare' and 'unique' and 'nobody else can see it.'
we could not talk to our families or friends. We had to give up all our money. We were brainwashed. We were controlled. We worked for the cult. We renounced our own beliefs and accepted Jen's. Anyone who argued was immediately against us. ie, Raincrystal when she left. She became a "servent of Sauron" out of Lord of the Rings and was now plotting to destroy the world, because she disagreed with Jen. If you want a little cut and paste, just compare this to what I've just told you.
SOME ABUSES OF RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS:-
1. ABUSE OF INDIVIDUALITY
2. ABUSE OF INTIMACY
3. ABUSE OF FINANCES
4. "US VERSUS THEM" MENTALITY
5. ABUSE OF TIME AND ENERGY
6. ABUSE OF FREE WILL
small, yes. but a cult, yes. and they claim more and more all the time.
Currently, the group is split up (Angel and Jen in one area, Renee in another, Raincrystal in another?) They are always looking for vulnerable suckers. They patrol otherkin, otakukin, multipul, soulbonding...wtf have you communties where people are 'different' and would fit their mould of someone to join the cult. They latch onto anyone creative and new to a fandom to make themselves appear popular. It's the freaking ff7 Tentacles of Odessa.
